What We're Looking For

The Assistant Athletics Director of Learning Support serves an important role in the Student Athlete Center for Excellence (SACE) department through a variety of responsibilities.

Required Qualifications: Completion of Master's degree. Excellent oral and interpersonal communication, analytical, and writing skills. Excellent computer (Microsoft Office) skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet established work deadlines. Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.

*Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

Provide comprehensive leadership to the Learning Support unit through creation/implementation of an academic support vision
Supervise and lead full time and part time team members/direct reports
Develop and facilitate academic programming for select group of student-athletes
Serve as a learning specialist for a caseload of students
Serve as liaison for disability services and other entities dealing with testing (e.g., sports psych, athletic medicine)
Review and asses educational documentation and testing
Create and implement intentional processes that lead to successful implementation and sustained success
Meet with prospective student-athletes and their families
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
